Oivataito Oy

Oivataito is a company from Mikkeli, Finland, and its most important product is the Oivallin homework helper.

The maker of Oivallin

I'm Jari Anttila, a father of several children and a software designer for over 25 years. I have designed and built Oivallin myself: the web app, the AI helper, the payments and the security.

Some of my children are still in basic education or upper secondary school, and some have already moved on, so helping with schoolwork is familiar to me. A couple of my children have also studied abroad in home schooling under my guidance, and some went to basic education abroad for years, but now we are in Finland.

I will always keep Oivallin's price as low as I can, because I believe Finland does best when everyone gets the best possible education as affordably as possible. That benefits everyone.

What we do

Oivallin

Oivallin is a homework helper that guides the pupil with questions and helps them work out the answer on their own, in other words to have an insight (in Finnish, oivaltaa). It is used from pre-school to university. Read more about Oivallin.

Brazilian jiu-jitsu

I teach Brazilian jiu-jitsu at the international BJJ Globetrotters camps and in Mikkeli at Kamppailuareena (in Finnish). I am a second-degree black belt (BJJ Beltchecker profile). I won the masters Pro division at the ADCC Amateur World Championship 2025.

How I work

I am responsible for the work myself and I am the customer's contact person from start to finish.
